Ratlam (MP), Sept 19: Senior BJP leader Uma Bharati today said party's election committee meeting will be held in first or second week of October for selecting candidates for the coming assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh. She told newsmen here that a three-member team would visit all the districts of the state on September 29 and 30 to find out probable candidates.

The party had already prepared criteria to select the candidates including their performance, she said, adding, if BJP came to power, its top priority would be to give relief to farmers.
She said that the party was in favour of a small cabinet to keep bring down the expenses.

She said that bjp would not suffer due to past alliances with BSP in Uttar Pradesh.
