Bhutan Queen in Nepal
Kathmandu, June 23: Bhutan Queen Tshering Pema Wangchuk arrived here today on a week-long visit to Nepal.
Kathmandu, June 23: Bhutan Queen Tshering Pema Wangchuk arrived here today on a week-long visit to Nepal.
Crown Prince Paras and Crown Princess Himani received B Wangchuk at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
The Queen is accompanied by Princess Yangzom, Princess Kesang Chhoden, Prince Ugyen Jigme and Bhutanese officials.
During their private sojourn, the Bhutan Queen will pay visits to Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha, hospital and rehabilitation centre for disabled children at Banepa in Kabhre district and Maiti Nepal, a non-governmental organisation mainly involved in rehabilitation of trafficked women and children, according to royal palace sources.
The Bhutan Queen will be received by King Gyanendra and Queen Komal at the Narayanhiti Royal Palace during their stay in Kathmadu.
