Guntur, Oct 24: Rail traffic on the Guntur-Nandyal section of South Central Railway was thrown out of gear for about ten hours, after ten empty tankers of a goods train derailed near Narasaraopet town early today, railway sources said here. The goods train was going to Guntur when the accident occurred, they said, adding the rail traffic was restored by 11 am. Several passenger trains were delayed because of the accident, they added.
