Lucknow, Apr 30: Trashing Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Laloo Yadav’s statement, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav while talking to Zee News senior correspondent said he is not running for the post of prime minister. But surely, Samajwadi Party (SP) will play a major role in government formation. Mulayam said, “Laloo’s government in Bihar has been made and is still intact because of our blessings.”

RJD supremo had recently made known his aversion to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav as a prime ministerial candidate. But after addressing an election rally at Tulsiya in Kishanganj he told reporters that in the event of a 'hung' Parliament, he would seek Mulayam Singh’s support.

Explaining his position, Laloo Prasad Yadav said he was open to anyone for the formation of a secular government at the Centre.
