Silverstone, July 17: Frank Williams believes Sunday's British Grand Prix will determine if his team can win this season's World Championship.
The British-based team are the in-form outfit in Formula One after winning three of the last four races.
"If we win at Silverstone, then we can start thinking that maybe we can win the title," said Williams on Wednesday, at a news conference to announce a five-and-a-half year £30m sponsorship link-up with brewing giant Budweiser. "The last four races were very good for us, but they were all on relatively straightforward circuits.
"The tough circuits for us are Barcelona, Silverstone, Melbourne and Suzuka," added Williams, whose team has amassed 65 points in the last four Grands Prix. "This race will be a wake-up call for us. We might run at the front, but it's a tough circuit and Silverstone has often sent the team home with some hard lessons.
"Ferrari will want to lash the back and McLaren's old car was still quick at the last test, but if we win fair and square it means our car is in as good a shape as anybody's."

Ralf Schumacher has moved into title contention for the drivers' title with back-to-back victories in the European and French Grands Prix but Williams believes it will be hard for the German to win the championship.

"Ralf is 11 points behind and he would have to win the last six races with Michael second each time to take the title. That's a tall order," he said.
