Centre provides funds for tourist areas in Rajasthan
Ajmer, June 28: The Centre has formulated schemes for development of Kumbhalgarh, Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Shekhawati region in Rajasthan to attract tourists, according to Union Minister for Tourism Jagmohan.

A sum of Rs 6.50 crores had been earmarked for the
schemes, Jagmohan said after a day's visit to the city here
yesterday.
Funds for upkeep of Kesariaji and Ranakpur temples have also been sanctioned, he said.
Work for improvement and development of Dargah area and other tourist spots in the city and Pushkar would be planned soon, he added.
Jagmohan visited famous Dargah of Soofi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, Dhai-Din-ka-Jhopara and Akbar Fort during his visit.
He offered a chadar at the tomb of the Soofi saint in the Dargah and later visited holy lake in Pushkar and Brahma's temple there. Bureau Report
