Stockholm, July 20: Sweden striker Andreas Andersson has injured a ligament in his right knee and will be out of action for seven to nine months, his club AIK has said on their website.
The 29-year-old striker, who has scored four goals in his 11 Swedish first division matches for AIK this year and a total of eight goals for Sweden in 42 internationals, will also miss the Swedish national team's remaining Euro 2004 qualifiers.
