Gorakhpur, Nov 24: Terming the Mulayam Singh Yadav government in Uttar Pradesh as "anti-Hindu and incompetent", state BJP chief Vinay Katiyar today said it was bound to fall by March next year. Asserting that the BJP was not in favour of a mid-term poll, Katiyar told reporters here that "mounting lawlessness and the persecution of Hindus might force the BJP to take a decisive step after the Vidhan Parishad polls next month."
Katiyar charged the Mulayam government with misusing government machinery to ensure success of ruling party candidates in the local bodies elections and alleged that in Basti district, the government had directed the district and block level officers to support ruling party candidates.
