Patna, Dec 11: The Patna High Court today directed the Bihar government to submit a 'dedicated plan' to the court by the evening pledging 24-hour fool proof security for a smooth completion of the Golden Quadrilateral project. Observing that killing of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) project manager Satyendra Kumar Dubey was a reflection of prevailing poor law and order situation in Bihar, a division bench ordered that the security plan be submitted to the High Court Registrar General by this evening.
The bench comprising chief justice Ravi S Dhavan and Justice Shashank Kumar Singh was hearing a PIL filed by an advocate M P Gupta alleging that the future of the project was in danger due to the killing of Dubey at Gaya on November 27.
The court adjourned the hearing on the matter for tomorrow.
