Raipur, Dec 05: Buoyed by the victory in three states in the just concluded assembly elections, BJP today claimed that the main opposition congress would be "isolated" in a political realignment prior to next year's Lok Sabha poll. BJP, which emerged victorious in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, would contest the Lok Sabha polls on the plank of development, showcasing achievements of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led NDA government, party president m Venkaiah Naidu told a press conference here. "Congress will be completely isolated before the next general elections in the new emerging political situation," he claimed. BJP's new strategy of fighting the polls on the issue of development has paid rich dividends, Naidu said, adding "the Lok Sabha polls will be contested on the slogan: Vajpayeeji Ka Nam and Vajpayeeji Ka Kam." When asked about the party's stance on the ram temple movement and 'Hindutva', he said "they are not election issues", but hastened to add "BJP's commitment to the cause of Ram Temple is unequivocal and it will never deviate from the path of Hindutva."
