Jammu, May 22: With the recovery of sensitive documents and map-sketches from a group of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants killed in an encounter recently, army troops have foiled a major plan of the let ultras to carry out suicide attacks on vital security installations and top government offices in Jammu, defence sources today said. "We have foiled major let plans to carry out suicide attacks on several top security establishments and government offices in Jammu, after the recovery of maps, sketches, diary and vital documents," sources told news agencies.

The documents were recovered from seven let militants, who were killed in an encounter at Anderwal area of Rajouri district recently, they said.

The documents revealed sketches and maps of police headquarters, army transit camp in Jammu and Poonch deputy commissioner office besides other establishments, he said.
"In all these places, militants wanted to carry out suicide attacks in order to give a filip to terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir," sources said.

The accuracy of the sketches, they said, also revealed the covert assistance being provided by some of the sympathisers of militants to help them carry out their nefarious designs.

The sources said a diary, which the troops seized had a mention of terrorist attack carried in Poonch on March 14 last year.
The analysis and study of maps, sketches and diary revealed let's involvement in several suicide attacks carried out by the outfit earlier, sources added.
