Hyderabad, Aug 10: TDP supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today remained non-committal on the issue of taking action against his parliamentary party leader K Yerran Naidu for his alleged role in the petrol-pump scam and said he had asked his partymen not to interfere in the matters of dealership allotment.
“I will find out under what circumstances he (Yerran Naidu) had made the recommendation (on creating a new dealership selection board in the state),” Naidu told reporters here when his reaction was sought to a media expose linking TDPP leader to the petrol pump issue.
Earlier in the day, the Congress demanded disciplinary action against Yerran Naidu for using his clout to circumvent rules and get his nominee appointed as chairman of a Dealership Selection Board (DSB).
The TDPP leader came under opposition attack for writing a letter to petroleum minister Ram Naik seeking establishment of an additional DSB in the state and recommending his nominee as its chairman.

The Chief Minister, however, refused to be judgemental on the issue and said, “One needs to look into the intentions behind this action.”
The TDP supremo, however, had a word of caution to his partymen saying they should be extra careful in such matters.
