Ayodhya, May 29: The commissioner Faizabad and 'authorised person' of the acquired area in Ayodhya, Rajiv Kumar today said that no entry pass had been issued to a senior correspondent of a Delhi-based magazine, which has come out with a cover story on the ongoing excavations at the disputed site. Kumar told reporters that tight security arrangements have been made in the acquired land and it was impossible for any "UN-authorised person" to enter the 67 acres-area without official permission.
He said the correspondent might have visited the acquired land as a common visitor for having darshan of Ram Lalla in the makeshift structure.
Counsel for the Central Sunni Waqf Board Zafaryab Jilani had lodged a written objection about the publication of the article in the magazine which he said was contempt of court and demanded an inquiry into the matter.
He had submitted the objections to judicial observers, H S Dube and M A Siddiqui here yesterday.
The convenor Helal committee Khaliq Ahmed Khan today said there were several inconsistencies regarding the excavations in the magazine article and the magazine had violated the orders of the high court dated August 20,2002 prohibiting publication of opinion of the parties in the of Ram janam bhumi-Babri Masjid case.
Meanwhile, during the excavations today, 12 articles were found from half a dozen trenches, sources said.
