Chandigarh, July 24: A conference emerging opportunities in contract farming organised by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) will today be held at Chandigarh. The conference would be attended by over 100 delegates from across the country, stated a CII release. The conference would discuss application of contract farming in different areas, legal issues, government's initiatives and R&D work in related areas. Secretary (horticulture and gram vikas), Uttaranchal, Sanjeev Chopra, chief general manager NABARD A Ramanathan and CEO agribusiness, ITC Ltd, S Sivakumar would speak at the conference. Bureau Report
