Kolkata, Feb 21: After days of uncertainty, the Board of Control for Cricket in India will today announce the dates for the keenly-awaited tour to Pakistan. BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya yesterday said that the cricket team’s tour could be delayed by five to six days but a final itinerary will only be announced on Saturday.
"Possibly we may not be able to go to Pakistan on the dates talked about earlier. The tour could be delayed by five to six days. We have discussed over the itinerary but it is not yet finalised,” Dalmiya had told a press conference.
BCCI’s joint secretary Ratnakar Shetty and communications director Amrit Mathur, who were part of a three-member delegation that recently visited Pakistan, met the Board president Jagmohan Dalmiya yesterday to discuss the security arrangements and finalise the details of the tour. Bureau Report
