Moscow, Oct 03: The head of Russian oil giant Yukos, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, denied today that his company was in talks with US major ExxonMobil on the acquisition of a major stake in his company, Interfax reported. "There are no talks and there is no deal," the news agency quoted Khodorkovsky as saying.
The London Financial Times reported today that ExxonMobil was in talks on the purchase of up to 40 to 50 per cent of shares in the merged company that is being created by Yukos and smaller Russian rival Sibneft. Bureau Report
