New Delhi, May 27: Three out of the 77 polio cases reported so far in the country this year were from the national capital, Delhi health minister A K Walia said here today. Due to continuous migration and visit of people from neighbouring states the status of polio has been affected in Delhi, he said.
Walia reiterated the commitment of the city government to eradicate polio from Delhi saying "if 200 countries of the world could become polio free, there is no reason for us that we cannot do so."
