HPCL to shut down Mumbai refinery for maintenance in Oct
Mumbai, Mar 19: Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd. will shut down for maintenance its 5.5-million-metric-tonne Mumbai refinery sometime in October, a company official said Friday. The company is undertaking the maintenance after four years and will go on for 30-40 days, the official added.

Generally, entire refinery maintenance is carried out once in 3-5 years. Initially, the state-owned oil company had planned the maintenance shutdown in April.
