Kanpur, Dec 19: Claiming that her government enjoyed majority, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati today rejected the opposition demand for an assembly session to prove her strength saying "we will not work at the will of the opposition". "The government would call the session as and when it would feel necessary. We will not work at the will of the opposition," she told reporters here.
Denying that police action against independent MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh (Raja Bhaiya) was politically motivated, Mayawati said he was arrested after an fir was lodged against him and added that the law would take its own course.

On Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's allegations in the sugarcane growers issue, the chief minister said "he does not know what he wants to say. He is a frustrated politician". Bureau Report
