Mumbai, Aug 19: Bollywood stars Ajay Devgan and Urmila Matondkar, tennis sensation Sania Mirza and veteran trade unionist S R Kulkarni were today felicitated with Rajiv Gandhi Awards-2003 here. The Mumbai Pradesh Youth Congress, which has been organising the event for six years in a row in memory of the late prime minister, honours achievers from various sectors, on the eve of the birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi every year. This year's awardees include industrialist Sunil Mittal, social activist Dr Abhay Bang, journalist Rajdeep Sardesai, young entrepreneur Sanjeev Modi, educationist Grace Pinto, stage actor Vijay Chavan, senior police inspector Pradeep Sharma and 15-year-old Maithali Dalvi as a young scientist.

Barring Mittal, Bang and Sardesai all others were present on the occasion. The function was attended by CWC member and Former Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, AICC General Secretary Mukul Wasnik, Indian Youth Congress Chief Randeep Surjewala, MPCC Chief Ranjit Deshmukh, City Unit Party Chief Gurudas Kamat and MPYC Chief Charan Singh Sapra.
