Mumbai, May 11: The nabbing of eight terrorists, including prime accused Saquib Nachan responsible for the March 13 Mulund suburban train blast, besides busting of training module and camps near Borivli-Padga, 60 km away from here, seemed straight out of a Bollywood potboiler. Apart from netting the prized catches last month, the policemen also seized four Kalashnikov assault rifles and deadly chemicals used in making explosives. 'Sarfarosh' had been hailed as a 'realistic' cop film. The protagonist of the film, ACP Ajay Singh Rathod portrayed by Aamir Khan, busts a gang supplying illegal weapons to Indians via a conduit, 'Gulfam Hassan'. Hassan is a famous Ghazal singer across the border and also an arms supplier. Like ACP Rathod, DCP, Mumbai, Pradip Sawant played a key role in the operation to nab the perpetrators of the train bomb blast. Heading a group of officers from the crime branch, cops lay in wait near Borivli-Padga after receiving information that the terrorists were reportedly running two arms training camps on the hill tops of thick forests there.
