Madurai, June 11: A judicial magistrate court here today extended the remand of four of the accused in the former minister T Kiruttinan's murder, till June 25. The four - Mannan, S R Gopi, Mubarak Mantri and 'Karate' Siva - were arrested on May 27 and remanded to judicial custody the next day. When they were produced today in the court, judicial magistrate Vanitha extended their remand. Meanwhile, police today conducted searches of Gopi’s house. Yesterday, police had similarly, searched the house of Mannan and later claimed that they had seized some documents. Mannan has however, described the police claim as 'bogus' and said police had seized nothing from his house. Bureau Report
