Srinagar, Sept 12: With the much-awaited draw of lots for cellular services in Jammu and Kashmir beginning today, the people of the kashmir valley will finally be able to use mobile telephones. The computerised draw of lots for the service would be conducted by Chief Justice of state high court V K Jhajhi. Though BSNL has already issued mobile telephones to senior administration officials and accredited journalists, it could not carry out the draw of lots on September 4 as scheduled because it could not get a judge for the exercise. BSNL sources said they were having a hard time to sort out the application forms as many of them were not properly filled up. Bureau Report
