Seventeen articles found during excavation in Ayodhya
Ayodhya, Apr 19: About 17 articles, including one dozen terracota pieces of different sizes, one piece and glazed green tiles were found in the excavation in acquired land in Ayodhya today, according to sources.

Ayodhya today, according to sources.
On the other hand, counsel of central Sunni Waqf Board,
Jafaryab Jilani, who was present here today said he has raised
certain objections to archaeological survey of India team
against digging of several old and new trenches at a
time, causing problems to the representatives of contesting
parties to observe the work properly.
The sources said that some constructed structure was
found in trench No J-3 at the depth of about six metres. The
ASI team has prepared alternative seat for the priests to
start digging in front of sanctum sanctorum of make shift
structure.
About 151 labourers, including 51 Muslims were engaged in
digging work here today. It took a little more time in the
evening for sealing and enlisting and other work after digging
today.
