Mumbai, Sept 09: Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care has posted net profit of Rs 68.04 crore for the year ended June 30, 2003 as compared to Rs 77.02 crore in same period last fiscal while its board proposed a one bonus share for two shares of the company. The board also recommended a dividend of Rs 20 per share for 2002-03, the company informed the Stock Exchange, Mumbai on Monday.

Total income for the reporting year rose to Rs 453.04 crore from Rs 430.38 crore in 2001-02, it said.
The board has proposed issue of bonus shares in the ratio of one equity share for every two equity shares held.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2003, the fast moving consumer goods company posted a net loss of Rs 1.78 crore as agains Rs 14.72 crore in April-June 2002. The total income rose to Rs 99.15 crore in Q4 of 2002-03 as Rs 93.03 crore in same period last fiscal. Bureau Report
