Imphal, Nov 20: The banned Manipur People's Liberation Front and Revolutionary People's Front today asked different underground groups, active in state, to stop fighting among themselves. Referring to the killing of activists of the banned People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (Prepak) and one civilian on Monday by unidentified ultras, the MPLF convenor in a statement appealed to different militant outfits to stop killings among themselves forthwith.

Such 'fratridicial killings' were also causing danger to the general public, the statement issued by the major separatist outfit said referring to the death of the civilian.
The banned RPF in another statement also asked different militant groups to stop killing among themselves.

In a suspected inter-militant group fight, 10 Prepak activists and one civilian were killed by ultras of another outfit in Setpur hilly area, about 60 km south-east of here, in Bishenpur district of Manipur.

Prepak is a major partner of the separatist Manipur People's Revolutionary Front (MPLF) which has been fighting for an 'independent Manipur.
