Hyderabad, June 06: The TDP will today organise a rally in Karnataka to protest against construction of Paragodu project over Chitravathi river as the dispute between the two states continues to rage over sharing of Krishna waters. TDP leaders of Ananthapur district will march into neighbouring Kolar district to protest against the "illegal construction" of the dam. The rally would be led by Animal Husbandry Minister Nimmala Kistappa, five MLAs and Ananthapur MP K Srinivasulu, besides thousands of party workers, the sources said. The party members would converge at kodikonda checkpost on the Andhra- Karnataka border and hold a public meeting. They would later march to Paragodu, which is about ten km away, to hold a peaceful rally. Bureau Report
