Seven PWG naxals surrender in AP
Guntur (AP), Sept 20: Seven naxals of PWG (CPI-ML), wanted for grave offences like murder, abduction and arson of public property, surrendered before police here today.

The ultras, who surrendered before IG of Police (Guntur Range) P Chandrasekhar Reddy, included R Rama Rao Nayak (26), who had attempted to blow up the car of MP and former chief minister N Janardhan Reddy during his visit to a Srinagar village earlier in the year, police said.
Reddy had cancelled his visit to the village on the advice of police.
Other naxals were involved in various incidents like kidnapping of regional transport officer of Narasaraopet town and two constables of Dachepalli police station, blowing up of railway station of Kodumagunda village, robbing the Chaitanya Grameena Bank and damaging Pepsi soft drink godown, police added.
