New Delhi, Sept 17: Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) and Ankara Chamber of Industry (ACI), Turkey signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday to contribute to the development, promotion and diversification of the trade exchange, economic cooperation and cultural relations. The MoU, signed by Assocham president R K Somany and ACI president Zafer Caglayan, also stipulates promotion and assistance of contacts, foster mutual cooperation in trade and encourage joint ventures, know-how transfers and other forms of sound business relations between their members, a chamber press release said here.

These organisations would encourage the exchange of trade delegations, experts and economic missions and facilitate one to one interaction between representatives of business and government.
ACI and Assocham shall also regularly exchange statistics, economic data, magazines and periodicals, directories and other information and publications. Bureau Report
