Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Laloo Prasad Yadav on Sunday charged the BJP with trying to foment communal divisions among Hindus and Muslims by "spreading false rumours" and appealed to the people to oust the saffron party from power. Addressing a series of election meetings in support of Congress and the Rashtriya Parivartan Dal candidates at Babrala, Asafpur and Dataganj in the district, Yadav alleged the BJP was trying to foment communal passion by spreading false rumours.
He also criticised the NDA government's foreign policy saying "the foreign policy of the country is being dictated by America".
"Both Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf follow the dictates of America", he said adding that India could have become a leader of the non-alligned nations but stood isolated on Sunday.
Yadav also demanded a ban on the Shiv Sena, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh saying if the Student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) could be banned same should apply on these outfits also. Bureau Report
