Bhel bags Rs 40-cr power plant order
New Delhi, June 12: Power plant equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (Bhel) said on Thursday that it had won a Rs 40 crore order to boost captive power capacity at Jindal Steel and Power Ltd.
New Delhi, June 12: Power plant equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (Bhel) said on Thursday that it had won a Rs 40 crore order to boost captive power capacity at Jindal Steel and Power Ltd.
State-run Bhel said in a statement that the order was for two 25 MW steam turbine generators for Jindal's sponge iron plant expansion project at Raigarh in Chhattisgarh.
Bhel, which is 67.72 per cent owned by the government, said that the project was scheduled to be completed in 15 months. Bureau Report
