Quetta, Nov 11: Three bombs exploded in Pakistan's southwest city of Quetta late on Monday, injuring at least seven people, officials said today. The first bomb went off in a garbage dump at 9:10 pm (2140 IST), police said.

A second bomb exploded in a nearby dustbin half an hour later when bomb disposal experts, police and journalists were at the site.

Five policemen and two local journalists were injured, witnesses said.


Police said a third explosion rocked a police station at around 9:30 pm in the city's upmarket satellite town neighbourhood. There were no injuries.
The explosion left a one meter wide hole in the wall of the police station.
