Srinagar, Dec 06: Four militants belonging to pro-Pakistan Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit were killed in encounter with the security forces while three civilians were injured when army opened fire during a protest in the Kashmir Valley, official sources said. The LeT ultras were killed in an early morning encounter with security forces at Danmoh-Kreeri village of Pattan area, the sources said.
The sources said the security forces were sifting the area and the details of recovery of arms and ammunition from the slain militants were not yet known.
In another incident at Bangdar village of Sopur town, three persons were injured when army opened fire on stone-pelting protestors to disperse them, the sources said.

Army had last night smashed a hideout in the village during which a residential house was damaged leading to protests from the locals of the village, the sources said.
The injured, who had received bullet injuries in foot, were hospitalised and identified as Sameer Malik, Sultan Malik (both residents of Bangdar) and Mohammad Yousuf Ganai of Chandhar village. Bureau Report
