Tripoli, Oct 14: Libya has suspended talks in Paris on promised compensation for the families of passengers killed in the 1989 bombing of a French UTA airliner blamed on Tripoli, the head of the Libyan delegation, Salah Abdel Salam, said. "Out doubts (about the talks) were confirmed when the French foreign ministry tried to wriggle out of the agreement reached on September 11," Abdel Salam said. "As a result, we will not continue these negotiations. The talks have been suspended," he said. Bureau Report
