New Delhi, Nov 30: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi`s detractor Haren Pandya, who was denied BJP ticket for the assembly elections, today met Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani here and assured him that he would campaign for the party.
"I will mainly be campaigning in Ahmedabad, particularly
in Ellisbridge, and some other constituencies", he told
reporters after the meeting.
"We have already started out campaign", said pandya, who was thrice elected from Ellisbrige. He withdrew from the electoral fray this time following indications that he would not be nominated to contest from the constituency. Pandya had earlier told party president N Venkaiah Naidu that he was opting out of the race on his own but would campaign for BJP as a "loyal soldier".
