Kolkata, June 27: Justice D P Sengupta of the Calcutta High Court will today deliver the judgement on Peter Bleach's application for quashing of charges against him for assaulting a co-prisoner inside jail premises and prayer for fresh investigation into the incident. Public prosecutor Kaji Safiullah said that he directed by Justice Sengupta to inform the Superintendent of Alipore Central Jail that, British national Bleach, who is serving a life sentence after being convicted in the Purulia armsdrop case, be produced in his court today. Bleach, charged under Section 323 and 341 of CrPC for assaulting a fellow prisoner Kamal Routh, had in the last hearing prayed for a direction to the lower court, hearing the case, to first deal with his application for quashing and then proceed with the trial.
