Chennai, Aug 04: Pattali Makkal Katchi, one of the constituents of the NDA at the Centre, today welcomed Prime Minister, A B Vajpayee's assertion that there was no change in the government's policy of finding a solution to the Ayodhya issue either through negotiations or court verdict. "The Prime Minister has put an end to all the confusion that arose after his remarks at Ayodhya," PMK founder-leader, Dr S Ramadoss, said in a statement here.

The opposition parties which found fault with Vajpayee, should now come forward to 'appreciate' him for his clarifications, he said without naming the parties.

"These parties still try to blame the Prime Minister and it only shows that they are trying to politicise Ayodhya issue." The clarification by Vajpayee clearly showed that he was not deviating from the NDA agenda of governance." PMK welcomes this," Ramadoss said adding that his party's stand was that a solution to the Ayodhya issue should be found only through talks or court verdict.
