Lahore, Feb 05: The Pakistan Cricket Board has said a final decision on the venues to host India-Pakistan matches in the forthcoming series will be taken after the BCCI's delegation arrives here to oversee the security measures being taken.
''We have shortlisted the venues but nothing is final as yet. The complete tour itinerary for the Indians' visit would only be finalised after the visit of the Indian security delegation to Pakistan soon,'' PCB chairman Sharyar Khan said after visiting Peshawar's Arab Niaz Stadium yesterday.
The PCB has earmarked Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Multan and Faisalabad as the possible venues for the Tests and one-day internationals.
They also want India to play the three tests from March 11 to 31, followed by the five match one-day series.
The tentative dates for the three tests are the first match from March 11 to 15, the second from March 19 to 23 and the final tie from March 27 to 31.
Till now, all indications are that the Tests would be held in Lahore, Karachi and Faisalabad. Bureau Report
