Seoul, Nov 10: Hyundai Heavy Industries, one of the world's largest ship builders, said its third quarter net profit fell 85 percent from a year year-earlier. For the third quarter to September, Hyundai heavy posted a net profit of 3.8 billion won (3.2 million dollars), compared with 25.9 billion won.

Sales rose 2.2 percent to 1.95 trillion won, while operating profit dropped to 60.9 billion won from 77.2 billion won.
