US President George W Bush will visit Japan, South Korea and China next month to discuss the US-led war on terrorism, economic recovery and other bilateral issues, the White House has said.
Spokesman Ari Fleischer on Saturday said Bush would leave Washington on February 16, spend February 18-19 in Tokyo, February 19-20 in Seoul and February 21-22 in Beijing. The visits originally were planned around last year's October 20-21 annual Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Shanghai but Bush cut short his trip after the September 11 attacks on the United States.
