80 MCD school children fall ill, admitted to hospital
New Delhi, Feb 27: About 80 children of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) school, Sabzi Mandi area have fallen ill after consuming mid-day meals. The sick were immediately rushed to Hindu Rao Hospital.
New Delhi, Feb 27: About 80 children of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) school, Sabzi Mandi area have fallen ill after consuming mid-day meals. The sick were immediately rushed to Hindu Rao Hospital.
Out of the 80 children, one girl seems to be serious. It is also being reported that more children are being admitted to the hospital who are complaining of the same problem.
Most parents are at the hospital expressing concern about the health of their children to the doctors. Most children reported to mediamen that they were pressed on consuming the food else they would not be allowed to continue in the school. Meanwhile, both BJP and Congress leaders on reaching the hospital passed the buck on to each other and lacked in expressing true warmth to the children or their parents.
A similar incident of government school children falling ill after eating mid-day meals was reported on Thursday.
