Nagpur, June 04: The city was reeling under intense heatwave conditions as the mercury touched 47.7 degree Celsius today, according to the regional meteorological centre. The temperature was highest so far in the month of June, the centre said, adding yesterday the temperature was 47.2 degree Celsius.

Other important townships and district places in the Vidarbha region were also experiencing severe heatwave conditions, it added.
