New Delhi, Jan 19: The Supreme Court today permitted a Chennai special court to pronounce its verdict in the Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation (SPIC)disinvestment case in which Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa is an accused.

A bench comprising Justice B N Aggarwal and Justice A R Lakshmanan gave the order while disposing of an appeal filed by former state Industry Secretary C Ramachandran, who is also
an accused in the case.
