Buddhist monks stage dharna at Bodh Gaya
On Sunday, over 200 Buddhist monks staged a dharna outside the main temple in Mahabodhi temple complex in Bodh Gaya in Bihar.

They are demanding the complete control of administration
of the shrine because the Buddhists believe the temple is the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.

Five monks on the temple`s administration panel were retrenched in January this year. The monks are demanding that they be reinstated. They also want a ban on shoes being worn inside the temple. Bureau Report
