Dehradun, June 20: The unwed mother episode today again rocked the Uttaranchal Assembly with the opposition members forcing repeated adjournments demanding resignation of chief minister N D Tiwari. As soon as the house assembled this morning, the opposition members belonging to BJP, BSP and Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (UKD) stormed into the well of the house demanding resignation of the chief minister and immediate discussion of the issue.

Pritam Singh Panwar (UKD), Ajay Bhatt (BJP) and others, said since Harak Singh Rawat, who had resigned as revenue minister, had named the chief secretary in the scandal, they wanted an immediate discussion over the issue suspending Question Hour.

Amid uproarious scenes, the speaker Yashpal Arya adjourned the house thrice.

The Chief Minister had yesterday ordered a CBI probe into the whole episode in which an unmarried woman had alleged that Rawat had fathered a child by her.
