Three Patna cops suspended for being on pay-roll of criminals
Patna, June 05: The officer-in-charge of a Patna police station and two other policemen were suspended today allegedly for being on `pay-roll of criminals`.

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Patna range, Ravindra Kumar today ordered suspension of officer-in-charge of Jakkanpur police station Raj Kumar Sinha after a departmental inquiry confirmed that he was illegally accepting bribe from criminals.
A sub-inspector and a constable of the same police station were also put under suspension by the Senior Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar on the same charge.
The DIG said here that a departmental inquiry had been ordered against the policemen following a confessional statement of a notorious criminal Pintoo Singh that he was regularly paying money to them.
