Lucknow, Oct 14: A writ petition was today filed in the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court seeking directives to the Uttar Pradesh government to release forthwith 33 people detained while on their way to Ayodhya. The petition alleged that they were illegally detained by the authorities in Lucknow while they were going to Ayodhya to pay obeisance to the Ram Lala on Monday. The petition is likely to come up for hearing tomorrow. Bureau Report
