New Delhi, June 06: A Chartered Accountant travelling in Delhi metro rail was arrested after Rs 55,000 in fake currency was seized from his possession, police said today. Piyush Rastogi was arrested last night in the first such incident in metro rail since it was inaugurated in December last, police sources told a news agency. Rastogi was allegedly carrying Rs 40,000 in fake currency while travelling, while the remaining Rs 15,000 was recovered from his home. Fake currency was in the denomination of Rs 100, the sources said, adding further investigations were on.
