Denpasar (Bali) June 09: With an aim to project Indonesia as an investor friendly destination, the island nation will host an Asia-Europe Meeting of Finance Ministers (ASEM FM) on July 5 and 6. We hope that this will increase the confidence of the international business community in the investment climate of the country, Jannes Hutagalung, deputy to the Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economy said here yesterday. The decision was taken at a two-day meeting attended by the ASEM deputy finance ministers which ended here yesterday,. The meeting also discussed among others regional and world economy and financial developments, and combating the funding of terrorist activities and money laundering.
ASEM FM is a dialogue forum for the finance ministers of two regions of the world to share opinions in creating a conducive climate to develop their economies. Bureau Report
