New Delhi, Mar 23: The Delhi High Court on Tuesday refused to stay the General Court Martial (GCM) proceedings initiated against Colonel Anil Sehgal, one of the six Army officers allegedly caught on Tehelka tapes in March 2001. A Division Bench of Justice Vijender Jain and Justice H R Malhotra, however, issued notices to the Centre, Chief of Army Staff, GOC Western Command and GOC 2 Corps on Colonel Sehgal's plea for stay and quashing of GCM proceedings for which he has already been issued movement orders.
The court asked the Government and the Army to file their replies within two weeks and adjourned the hearing to May 18.
